First Tracks

The last time I was told to "send it" with Trevor, I crashed a bike on a mountain in New Zealand. Despite living 30 miles from each other, we finally got the chance to meet up for the first time in over a year... halfway across the country. And thankfully it was just like our last adventure in NZ. By that I mean I followed Trevor with a camera while he tore through the first runs of the season.

I managed to get my legs back a bit, and of course got in over my head, but what a day! The lighting started out flat and made for tricky going at first, not to mention it was rubbish for photos. But as the day progressed the weather cleared and offered up a bit of drama for our final few runs. I managed to capture a few portraits of Trevor before we called it a day. Flick through the gallery below!

Spring Forward

Spring Forward

This winter has seen many a cyclist questioning their desire to ride. It confined us, relegated to the indoors as snow and ice sneered at our skinny tires. Even when professional racing resumed, seemingly worlds away in Australia, we chased our tv screens haplessly from stationary trainers. When the clocks "sprang forward," the promise of extended daylight began our change in fortune.
